added Drupal core 6.24 to the modules of already existed drupal core 6.22 version

Hi all,
I am new to the drupal development. when i am some of drupal modules to recommended version i also downloaded recommended new drupal core module i.e 6.24 accidentally i added this module to already existed drupal version 6.22 module folder, then all the sites under drupal 6.22 now running with drupal 6.24. i dont know why they are looking for that module even they are existing in sites folder of drupal 6.22. i just want to get back to the same version as previous please advise how to do that.. all these things happend on production server... please help me....
